I know I said you guys wouldn’t see any more posts until next year, but I just though I’d still post this trailer that was made by Conn who’s been helping me since the month of July! It showcases some of the new features you’ll be able to see in the hack! Of course that is but a small glimpse of what’s to come since there are many more new features unshown in the video, like other brand new items (with new functions and even upgrades) and multiple game endings just to name a few!
But yeah I’m serious this time, no kidding, no more posts until a longgggg longgggg time.
…have all been mostly changed and inserted into the game. Won’t post their new appearances though but you’ll be in for a treat, that’s for sure. Also in order to keep the rest of the game under wraps and spoiler free, I’ll refrain from posting any more posts until the beta test phase and release. Doesn’t matter much in reality since you guys have seen almost all parts of the game already.
Don’t be scared if you don’t see any more posts from me until next year (I’m nowhere near going to abandon the hack since so few content remains to be done)… I’ll instead be much busy finishing the rest of the game at a good pace, free from the constrains of keeping this blog up to date.

Two of the countless references to today’s pop culture you’ll find in game! So far there are Doctor Who, Alien, God of War, Lord of the rings, Breaking Bad, Mario series and even Zelda 1 references already in there, so if youve got any more you’d like to see in-game while you’ll play, feel free to tell and I’ll see what I can do!
I’ve created a training area that will showcase all the different functions in the hack. Everytime you get a new item, you’ll be able to test them here!
The new Ice Bolt asm function was created by Con and modified by PuzzleDude to create that blocking effect! The two peg-switches types were created by me a while back.
^^ Added many Resident Evil styled descriptions for my Spencer Estate re-creation. The mansion still has many bugs and is about halfway finished (missing some puzzles and sprites but layout is fully done).
It is to be noted that you’ll be playing as the “Ancient Stone Tablets” boy sprite when you reach that part.
So for those that played that game back when it was released in 1996, this dungeon will be a treat to all of you!
Oh and almost forgot, thanks to MathOnNapkins, I was able to slow down those mummy monsters so they walk about the same speed as zombies!! I’ll change their graphics of course (and don’t forget that Link’s walking speed is faster then normal, I’ll change it back to normal later, no worries).

…Introducing five characters to play as!
In each of the universes, your character will switch of appearrance! Of course the story will reflect that new change. Think of it as something reminescent of the movie “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” where Tony goes though the mirror and changes of appearance
Only this time it’s the hero of the game who changes. The name of the hack just got a new meaning
Every game needs a story! It’s being built right now… all I can tell is that it’s going to be epic!
Meanwhile… I’m announcing that due to a recent event in my real life I’m giving a final go at the hack and fully intend to release it within less then a year, so stay tuned! I feel like I’ve been dragging this project for so long and feel like I’ve pushed enough boundaries already.
The overworld is 99% complete, and the six dungeons I’m doing for the hack are near complete. The monologue is being worked on right now and I’ll do the world map in the coming weeks! PuzzleDude who is handling the remaining six dungeons will probably be done by the end of the year with them aswell. So we could say that by the end of December all dungeons, overworlds, menus, world map and monologue will all be near complete!
Starting next year, there will still have some work to do… namely, the dialogue which will need to be completed, porting PuzzleDude’s dungeons (since they are being done on a different rom) and Euclid who will create the dungeon maps. I’ll get someone to foolproof the dialogue, looking for any grammatical errors I might have did aswell. Also a beta testing phase will be taking place, probably a closed one at first and if I feel the need for it, near release, an open one aswell! Ideas, suggestions and comments, feel free to ask!
